Shengyu Zhang is a ZJU100 Young Professor and doctoral supervisor at Zhejiang University. His research interests include large–small (device–cloud) model collaboration, cross-media generation, and large-model agents. In recent years, he has published over sixty papers in venues including the Cell Press journal Nexus, TPAMI, KDD, CVPR, and other CCF-A journals and conferences, with more than 6,000 total citations. He serves as an Area Chair for KDD and ACM MM, a Senior Program Committee member for SIGIR, IJCAI, and WSDM, and an invited reviewer for Nature, the Cell Press journal iScience, and TPAMI, among others. His honors include the First Prize of the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award (2023), the First Prize of the CCF Science and Technology Progress Award (2023), the First Prize of the CSIG Natural Science Award (2025), and the Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award (2025).
